Psychology Sessions – Medicare Available

Psychology sessions are available for individuals who want to address specific difficulties and improve how they think, respond, and function day to day.

Appointments are offered in person and via Telehealth, allowing flexibility depending on your schedule and preference.

Work is focused on understanding what is contributing to the current issue and developing practical ways to manage it more effectively. Sessions are structured and tailored to your situation, with an emphasis on building skills that can be applied outside of the session.

A range of established psychological approaches may be used where appropriate, depending on your needs and goals.

Areas of Focus:

  • Anxiety, stress, and ongoing pressure

  • Low mood and reduced motivation

  • Emotional regulation and behavioural patterns

  • Trauma and past experiences

  • ADHD and Autism-related challenges

  • Grief and adjustment to change

  • Goal setting and direction

  • Coping strategies and resilience

What to Expect
A clear and structured approach to assessment and ongoing psychological work.

1

Initial Consultation

The first session involves a comprehensive assessment of your current concerns, relevant history, and presenting difficulties.

This provides a foundation for identifying key areas requiring support and establishing initial clinical direction.

2

Treatment Planning

Based on the initial assessment, a treatment plan is developed in collaboration with you.

This includes defining therapeutic goals, identifying priority areas, and selecting appropriate evidence-based approaches relevant to your needs.

3

Ongoing Sessions

Subsequent sessions focus on implementing the treatment plan, monitoring progress, and adjusting strategies where required.

Sessions are structured and goal-oriented, with an emphasis on developing practical skills and improving day-to-day functioning.
