Confidential LGBTQIA+ Support Line
Adapt EAP offers a Confidential LGBTQIA+ Support Line to ensure employees who identify as LGBTQIA+ can access professional support in a respectful and inclusive environment.
This service provides employees with the opportunity to speak with a qualified professional who understands the importance of cultural awareness and sensitivity when discussing wellbeing, identity, and life experiences. Conversations focus on providing a supportive space where individuals can discuss concerns affecting their wellbeing, both within and outside the workplace.
While many of the challenges employees bring to support services are shared by people across all backgrounds, some individuals may prefer to speak with a professional who is aware of the experiences and considerations relevant to LGBTQIA+ communities.
All conversations are confidential, and employees are supported in a respectful and culturally responsive way.
How the Service Works
Employees can access the Confidential LGBTQIA+ Support Line to speak with a qualified professional in a safe and supportive setting. During the conversation, the focus is on understanding the individual’s concerns and providing guidance or strategies that may help them navigate their situation.
Participation is voluntary and all discussions remain confidential.
